The Neighborhoods Partnership Network (NPN) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization consisting of a citywide network of neighborhoods that was established after the Hurricane Katrina disaster to facilitate neighborhood collaboration, increase access to government and information, and strengthen the voices of individuals and communities across New Orleans. NPN's mission is to improve the quality of life by engaging New Orleanians in neighborhood revitalization and civic processes.
As NPN Communications Manager, small hinges SCE's principal was responsible for strategically planning, coordinating and facilitating the exchange of information among NPN staff, NPN Board of Directors, NPN members, and all New Orleans citizens by assuming editorial responsibility for all NPN publications, providing technical assistance for neighborhood associations using the NPN website, and working to increase revenue through advertising and partnerships.
In this capacity, she also served as Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Chair for The Trumpet, NPN's bi-monthly magazine where she worked with community organizations and neighborhood associations on content development. This work also included story writing, copyediting, cover design and layout.
